The Faculty of Commerce SCU offers a credit hours English Commerce Program for bachelor's degree students. 

 

 

The faculty aspires to be the students' window that overlooks the latest scientific trends and updates in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Economics, and more. 

This program aims to bridge the gap between the studied curriculums and the marketplace. It aims to put theory into practice to have the students well-prepared and ready to face the business challenges they might face after graduation. 

 

How does it work?

This program operates with the credit hours system. 

The academic year consists of two semesters (the summer semester is added).

Credit hour is the measurement unit used in this program.

For the student to earn his/her bachelor's degree, he/she must complete 144 credit hours.

The academic year consists of 3 terms; fall, spring, and summer.

Students can select up to 18 credit hours per semester. 

Students are not allowed to select less than nine credit hours per semester.

This program stands out among all the Programs of the Faculty of Commerce SCU as it offers a unique specialization that represents a scientific merge between the Accountancy Major and the Information System discipline. The faculty administration is keen on providing the students with a comprehensive scientific portion that is easily digested by the students. The faculty have assigned a league of brilliant professors from both the faculty of Commerce and the faculty of Computer science to establish the right connection between the two majors. This will result in graduating a highly specialized individual who is capable of occupying various crucial positions in the business sector.

This program is the first step for the development of University Education in Egypt as it reflects the vision and the philosophy of the Egyptian Higher Education strategy as follows:

As a graduation requirement, the student must work on a graduation project that explains how an information system can be vital for the business sector.

How does it work?:

This program aims to graduate students that will fit the Finance and Banking sectors as its courses are designed to teach the students about the decision-making process in the stock market and the financial market. FMI program gives the students the right tools for the stock exchange to generate value. It also introduces them to the planning and budgeting tools and methods that support financial plans. This program teaches the students to look at the situation with the eye of a financial advisor and qualifies them to work in a dynamic environment.
