Overview
The unit targets to increase university's projects' efficiency which are:
- Network and University' information center efficiency project.
- Integration and linking between management information system applications project.
- Proceeding activating and operation portals project.
- The electronic educational content availability project.
- Activating the electronic library and proceeding library and digital repository digitalization project.
- The unit works on offering unique services in the information technology.
The IT service unit at the Faculty of Commerce SCU is committed to the following duties:
- To enhance and improve the efficiency of the internal information network of the faculty.
- To promote infrastructure in information technology and update it regularly.
- To contact with academic staff members and students using the university's official e-mail.
- To use the faculty’s official website, as to contact all stakeholders.
- To work on developing the educational process, by supporting interaction between students and staff members.
- To shift part of the educational programs to electronic programs.
- Aware and increase academic staff members, students, and employees' efficiency in using the information technology.
- Faculty's computers' maintenance.
- Faculty's network maintenance.
- Faculty's active board maintenance.
- Programs design.
