Overview 


The unit targets to increase university's projects' efficiency which are:

 

  • Network and University' information center efficiency project. 
  1. Integration and linking between management information system applications project. 
  2. Proceeding activating and operation portals project.
  3. The electronic educational content availability project.
  4. Activating the electronic library and proceeding library and digital repository digitalization project. 
  • The unit works on offering unique services in the information technology.
     

 

The IT service unit at the Faculty of Commerce SCU is committed to the following duties:

  • To enhance and improve the efficiency of the internal information network of the faculty.
  • To promote infrastructure in information technology and update it regularly.
  • To contact with academic staff members and students using the university's official e-mail.
  • To use the faculty’s official website, as to contact all stakeholders.
  • To work on developing the educational process, by supporting interaction between students and staff members.
  • To shift part of the educational programs to electronic programs.
  • Aware and increase academic staff members, students, and employees' efficiency in using the information technology. 
  • Faculty's computers' maintenance.
  • Faculty's network maintenance.
  • Faculty's active board maintenance.
  • Programs design.
