Overview


The library of the Faculty of Commerce at Suez Canal University plays an effective role in enriching the educational process of the faculty. The faculty students, postgraduates, and academic staff are lucky to have such a library at their service as it is the scientific gateway that overlooks the latest global trends in the fields of Accounting, Economics, Management, Economics, Insurance, and Applied Statistics.

 

The Library Administration aims to preserve the Faculty of Commerce's leading position in Suez Canal University by providing the undergraduates and postgraduates with comprehensive research service within the framework of quality standards and the library's ethical pact enables it to lead the business sector keeping into consideration privacy of the Egyptian culture. The library contributes to the faculty's vision because the library is one of the faculty's main administrations that offer services to all faculty members including students and academic staff members.

 

The library is divided as follows:

General Library (Arabic References Hall)

  • This library includes books in various fields and specializations, such as Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Applied Statistics, and Insurance.
  • Number of books: 11, 520 (purchased 7,720 - 3800 gifted)
     

Foreign Books Library (Foreign References Hall)

  • Number of Books: 2,385 (purchased:1,922 - 463 gifted)
     

Scientific Journals Library

  • Number of Journals: 1600 journals
     

Scientific Thesis

  • Number of theses: 850 Masters - 720 PhDs
  • Library attendees for 2018/2019: 500
  • Library borrowers for 2018/2019: 300
