Graduation Requirements
- The students must pass one year of study divided into 2 semesters, then present the research thesis.
- The student must study the premaster's year which is divided into 2 semesters. (30 credit hours)
- When the student passes all of his/her courses whether elective or compulsory, he/she must present a research project in the specialized discipline to study for the master's degree after submitting the premaster's thesis by at least one year or two Maximum. The premaster's thesis must be approved by the faculty's council and postgraduates and research council. The period of admission counts from the moment the faculty council approves of the thesis.
- The student must present the research 1 or 2 years after his/her admission. The research is publicly discussed and assessed by the Investigation and Assessment Committee which consists of the members of the specialized departments.
- The Master's degree is awarded according to the report issued by the Investigation and Assessment Committee.

Graduation requirements
- For the student to be awarded the doctor of philosophy, he/she must have completed 54 credit hours.
- The student must study the qualification courses for one year divided into 2 semesters. (30 credit hours)
- When the students pass both the elective and compulsive courses, he/she takes a comprehensive exam that consists of 2 phases:
- Written exam: The student shall take an exam decided by the department council in November. The student has a second chance to retake the exam in April of the same academic year.
- Oral exam: for the students who have passed the written exam. The student is questioned about his/her studied discipline by three professors chosen by the department council.
- Over the course of 2 years, after the student passes the oral exam, he/she must present his/her research project to be admitted to the Ph.D. program.
- The student must present his/her thesis over the course of at most 3 years from the admission date.
- The student is awarded his/her doctor of philosophy certificate according to the report issued by the Investigation and Assessment committee.
- The faculty council, department council, and the Postgraduate and Research Council must approve of the student's project as well.
Program Objectives
- The MBA program is designed to prepare students with different backgrounds to become responsible leaders and equip students with a strong understanding of real-life business practices and enhance their analytical skills and technical competencies that drive their managerial professional success.
- By the end of this program, graduates must have acquired modern managerial skills to upgrade the performance level of all the governmental sectors.
- Beginning of the academic year of the MBA program
- The study starts in September and February of each year.
- Semester duration: 16 weeks.
- Admission Terms and Conditions
- The student must hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or one of the faculty of commerce's disciplines from an Egyptian university or any educational institution recognized by the Supreme Universities Council.
- A student who holds a bachelor's degree in a discipline that is irrelevant to the program can still be admitted to the program only after fulfilling the comprehensive courses assigned by the business administration department.
- 2 years of experience in the field of specialization.
- The student must pass the English proficiency test TOEFL with a total grade of 450 or the IELTS exam with a total grade of 5 for the student who wishes to study in English. Be noted, these rules don't apply to students who have already studied their BA courses in English.
System of Study
- Study duration: 24 months
- The language of study is available in English and Arabic, and the same works for exams and lectures.
- For the student to be awarded his/her certificate, he/she must pass 48 credit hrs. divided as follow:
- 30 hrs. for compulsory courses
- 12 hrs. for elective courses
- 6 hrs. for applied research in the field of specialization
- After passing both the elective and compulsory courses, the student must prepare applied research in the field of specialization over the course of 6-8 months. The student can be granted an extra 3 months upon the approval of the faculty's council and the department's council.
- The Business Administration Department assigns two of the academic staff members to be the postgraduate mentors for their applied research.

- Introducing the students to the modern accounting approaches and the new applied scientific discipline with the main focus on professional practice in the fields of financial accounting, Auditing, Cost Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Tax accounting.
- Developing the accountants' professional skills whether they are financial, cost, managerial, or tax accountants. Moreover, the program's scientific scope includes auditors as well to ensure satisfying the market needs completely.
- Offering realistic solutions for the ongoing professional obstacles facing the program's attendees is achieved by providing the tools and modern technical approaches from an applied accounting perspective.
